Lalapaşa - Lalapasa - Лалапаша - Λαλάπασα
To the north and west of the district is Bulgaria, to the east is Suloglu district and to the south is Edirne city center.
The district's land is generally flat, but the Balkan border sections are rugged. There are sharp-toothed granites formed by erosion on the upper parts of the hills.
The streams fed by winter rains flow into the Tunca River. Although there are many streams in the district, there is no significant river.
The district has a typical continental climate. Annual rainfall in the district is 350-450 mm.
The district is also a border region. 55,455 meters of Turkiye's border with Bulgaria is in the Lalapasa region.
The Edirne-Lalapasa-Hamzabeyli border state road passes through the district borders.
