Uzunkopru Chamber of Commerce and Industry has a 130-year historical background. It was established in 1885 as the "Cisr-i Ergene Chamber of Commerce" in the Edirne Province Yearbook.

The Kesan Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established on November 17, 1958, with a Board of Directors elected from within the Assembly, consisting of Mehmet Cuhaci, Serif Yoruk, Ibrahim Aktug, Hayrettin Gursel, Hasan Sapci, Huseyin Yazir, Osman Ergene, Kadir Karasu, Emin Balci and Nedim Mercan and began its activities in the region in accordance with relevant laws.

The establishment of Chambers of Commerce in Western countries dates back to the 1700s. In contrast to these Western organizations, Turkish culture had its equivalents in the form of Ahi brotherhoods, guilds, and craft organizations.

The Chamber was established in 1932 in Luleburgaz, upon the request of merchants located in Luleburgaz, to cover the districts of Luleburgaz, Babaeski, Vize, and Pehlivankoy. Its purpose is to meet the common needs of its members, facilitate and develop their professional activities, ensure honesty and trust in their relations with each other and the public, establish professional discipline and ethics, and provide solidarity, as well as to fulfill the services assigned to it by law.

In the West, organizations similar to Chambers of Commerce found their counterparts in the form of guilds, trade associations, and craft organizations.

According to research, a Chamber of Commerce was established in Tekirdag after the Balkan War.

With its historical past, vast geographical area, fertile lands, favorable climate conditions, and growing population, Malkara District is a dynamic district with a cultured human potential that is extremely promising for the future. It is an important district that sets an example in its development and progress, both in its region and in our country.

The Corlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the first chambers in Turkiye. The Edirne Province Yearbooks state that there was an Agricultural Chamber in Corlu from 1870 onwards.
