One of the most important surface water resources of Thrace, Ergene River, originates from the south of Istranca Mountains within the borders of Saray district. It is the only region where Ergene flows cleanly. It is a forest and agricultural city with its black pine forests, being a gateway to the Black Sea and fertile agricultural lands. At the same time, its proximity to Cerkezköy and Corlu has led to the formation of some industry in the city.

Saray district is a tourism paradise that unfortunately receives very few visitors, has not been landscaped and has not yet been discovered, with ruins from the old stone age, Kastro Region under protection, coastline where green meets blue, Yıldız Mountains, black pine forests and other historical and natural beauties.
