Küplü - Kuplu - Кюплю - Κιουπλιά
Kuplu, which was a Greek village until 1922, was abandoned when the Greeks left here and moved to Greece after the War of Independence. After the 1924 population exchange, Pomak immigrants from Thessaloniki/Karacaova were settled in Kuplu. The Pomaks settled in Kuplu were composed of residents from three Muslim villages in Karacaova. These are, respectively, the villages of Cernisevo, Trestenik, and Gabrista.
