Marmaraereglisi Organized Industrial Zone gained legal personality as a Rehabilitated Organized Industrial Zone with registration number 350, upon the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkiye dated 06.02.2020 and numbered 1351017.
The Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) gained legal personality by fulfilling the land reclamation requirements, as per the letter dated 19.03.2020 and numbered 37419779-453.01/59 from the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. With the Ministry's decision dated 15.09.2022 and numbered 4024629, the site selection study was completed, and the area, covering 95.75 hectares, consists of a total of 25 parcels; comprising 12 industrial areas, 1 educational area, 1 administrative and social facility area, 7 service and support areas, 2 sports areas, 1 technical infrastructure area, and 1 wastewater treatment plant area.
Strategically located on the Seymen Road between Marmaraereglisi and Corlu, within the Eksielma and Sultankoy neighborhoods, the Organized Industrial Zone is 45 minutes from central Istanbul, 2 hours from the Ipsala border crossing, and 2 hours and 30 minutes from the Kapikule border crossing, placing it adjacent to both Europe and Istanbul.
In addition, it is 40 minutes from Asyaport Port in Tekirdag City Center, 10 minutes from Martas Port in Marmaraereglisi, 10 minutes from Botas Marmaraereglisi LNG processing facility, and 30 minutes from Corlu Airport.
The main sectors of the companies actively producing in the region are: Processed Marble, Kitchenware Manufacturing, Iron and Steel Production, Transportation and Storage, Construction and Contracting, Yarn and Fiber Production, and Coal Screening and Packaging Manufacturing.
Based on the Marmaraereglisi Organized Industrial Zone Development Plans, the 1/1000 scale Development Implementation Plan, the 1/5000 scale Master Development Plan, and the implementation of Article 18 of the Zoning Law No. 3194 have been completed.
