The Yaliboyu Organized Industrial Zone was established to protect the Ergene Basin and ensure the orderly development of industry in the region. Located north of the Corlu-Cerkezkoy highway, the 38-hectare industrial area began with applications from facilities, laying the foundation for today's modern organized industrial zone.
In 2013, in accordance with the Ergene Basin Protection Action Plan, the 38-hectare industrial area located north of the Corlu-Cerkezkoy highway was designated as a Rehabilitation Organized Industrial Zone by the Site Selection Commission following an application to the governorship by the industrial facilities located within it.
On September 25, 2013, it was registered by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology with registration number 293 and established as the Yaliboyu Rehabilitation Organized Industrial Zone.
On July 11, 2014, after the rehabilitation conditions were met, the word "Rehabilitation" was removed from the title, and it continued its operations as the Yaliboyu Organized Industrial Zone. This date is an important turning point that enabled the OSB to be recognized as a fully authorized organized industrial zone.
After the rehabilitation conditions were lifted on October 8, 2014, zoning plans were prepared according to the Organized Industrial Zone Regulation. The prepared plans were approved by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. The necessary procedures were completed, and the zoning plans were finalized on November 28, 2014.
With the finalization of the zoning plans on November 28, 2014, the authority to issue licenses and permits within the boundaries of the region was completely transferred to the Yaliboyu Organized Industrial Zone. From this date onwards, the OSB (Organized Industrial Zone) had the authority to handle all license and permit processes for companies operating in the region.
In 2017, the zoning plans were revised in line with the changes made in the OSB Implementation Regulation. New regulations were implemented to ensure compliance with current legislation and to promote the development of the region.
In 2023, revisions were made to the zoning plans in line with the development of the region and changing needs. Planning and regulations were carried out in accordance with current legislation.
