Within the scope of the Ergene Basin Protection Action Plan, published in the Official Gazette dated 13.06.2013 and numbered 28676, it is planned to establish Rehabilitation Organized Industrial Zones in the regions where existing industrial structures are located in Kirklareli and Tekirdag Provinces.
The approximately 212-hectare area within the boundaries of Evrensekiz Town in Luleburgaz District, Kirklareli Province, where industrial facilities are located, particularly those bordering the D-100 Highway, was registered by the Ministry in May 2014 with the title 'Evrensekiz Improvement Organized Industrial Zone' and registration number 298. Following the completion of the rehabilitation conditions of the region, the rehabilitation status was removed by the Ministry on February 15, 2018, and it continues its activities in the Mixed Organized Industrial Zone structure under the title 'Evrensekiz Organized Industrial Zone'.
Evrensekiz Organized Industrial Zone is located in the middle of the Thrace Region and is noteworthy for its distance from urban and logistics areas.
