Kastro Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Thrace, is among the most beautiful beaches in Tekirdag province, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy sun, sand, and sea. Kastro Beach is located in a region of Thrace that doesn't attract a large number of tourists during the summer season. It is primarily a destination visited by day-trippers from Istanbul and Tekirdag.
Kastro Beach is located within the borders of Saray district. Situated between Kiyikoy and Cilingoz, between the Black Sea and the Istranca Mountains, where the Bahcekoy Stream meets the Black Sea, it is Tekirdag's only coastline on the Black Sea.
Historically known as Kastro and now called Camlikoy, the beach welcomes visitors in a magnificent location where the Bahcekoy Stream flows into the Black Sea. With approximately 2.5 km of sandy beach, it is located on a beautiful coastline of Saray. On one side is a stunningly beautiful natural beach, and on the other side is a golden lake that merges with the beach.
Located in a small part of Tekirdag's Black Sea coast and at the foot of the Istranca Mountains, this natural wonder of a beach features forested areas dominated by every shade of green, starting right at the beach. The beach, being a relatively unknown place with a natural structure, has pristine and clear water.
The best activity to do at Kastro Beach today, to escape the stressful atmosphere of city life and relax, is to camp or pitch a tent in the peaceful environment of nature. In this sense, there is the possibility of camping as desired at Kastro Beach.
