Located in the Kesan district, on the coast of the Saros Bay, this holiday destination stands out with its Blue Flag status. The beach is known for its clear sea and wide sandy shore, making it ideal especially for families with children. Erikli Beach, one of the beaches located in the Saros Bay, is situated in Erikli village, part of Kesan district in Edirne. Located 2.5 kilometers from the village, Erikli Beach is a Blue Flag beach in the Saros Bay. One of the best options for swimming in Edirne, Erikli Beach received its Blue Flag in 2014. It attracts a lot of attention, especially during the summer and on weekends.

This natural wonder, described as the Bodrum of Thrace, boasts one of the widest beaches in Turkiye. Easily accessible, Erikli is located 260 kilometers from Istanbul, 120 kilometers from Edirne, and 113 kilometers from Tekirdag.

Due to the water cycle in the Saros Bay, the beaches here are generally clean. Erikli Beach, one of these beaches, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region during the summer months. The coastal town of Erikli boasts a beautiful beach and a wide range of accommodation options.

Erikli Public Beach, awarded the Blue Flag by the Erikli Coastal Tourism Development Cooperative, offers facilities such as toilets, showers, changing rooms, and lifeguards. The beach is approximately 3 kilometers long and 30-40 meters wide.

This holiday resort, which began settlement with tent campers in the 1960s and has now transformed into a holiday town, attracts vacationers from the surrounding area with its long and beautiful sandy beach and clear, clean sea.

Hotels can be a bit problematic in such small holiday destinations due to the short season. Looking at Erikli hotel prices, we can say that they are expensive considering the services provided.

If you prefer comfort, we can recommend rental houses. There are many summer houses; you can find a much cleaner and more comfortable home than hotels.

Those going to Erikli Public Beach by private car should use the Istanbul-Tekirdag road. Reaching Kesan district via this road takes approximately 230 kilometers. After turning off at the Erikli junction from Kesan district, you reach Erikli after a journey of approximately 30 kilometers. There is a 3-kilometer distance between Erikli district and Erikli Beach.

To get to Erikli Public Beach by bus, you can use the buses that go directly to Kesan district. After arriving at Kesan Bus Station, you can reach the town with Erikli minibuses that depart every half hour.
